Message from the Race Director

The Steel Rail Half Marathon/8K
is the signature event put on by Berkshire Running Center.

This locally owned and operated Run Specialty store located at 34 Depot Street in Downtown Pittsfield, MA puts on 25 running events each year. Now in it's 6th year this annual event has drawn more than 750 runners to make the trip from Lanesboro to Adams. According to Race Director Kent Lemme, "This race started it all for us at BRC, it's our baby and is very special to us!"

Race sponsor Berkshire Brewing Company provides the Steel Rail Pale Ale at the finish line. The post race celebration is great, with food vendors and live music, plan on sticking around and enjoying the afternoon at the Adams Visitor Center!
